When transwomen say they get periods because of the effects of oestrogen on smooth muslce giving them cramps etc please remind them of this, which we all learnt in school:
Oestrogen is lowest during the menstrual period in women so I still don’t know what the fuck these people are talking about.
Know your body so that men cant pretend to be you.
And menstrual cramps come from our uteruses which they don’t possess so
But - like any emotionally under-developed child - mentioning that they don’t have something they really want makes them throw the most awful tantrums and demands.
i love how in art when men try to “play god” by creating life, it always ends in death and chaos like in frankenstein and ex machina and a thousand other stories. i wonder who called it playing god in the first place, though, because men aren’t playing god, they’re just playing woman. women create life and there’s nothing technologically transgressive about it when we do it. i think the prevalence of this theme as tragedy is rooted in the fact that men created patriarchy to artificially harness the means of reproduction, stealing control of the creation of life from women, and deep down we all know that this is ruining humanity and destroying the planet

The war on drugs is rooted in racist policies . The failure of the war and drugs is obvious. We need to find a better solution, because people of color should never be the victims of racist policies. White Americans are more likely than black Americans to have used most kinds of illegal drugs, including cocaine and LSD. Yet blacks are far more likely to go to prison for marijuana, which is not a hard drug. Moreover , even when white people get caught , they get less time in prison.
…is that Rachael Leigh Cook, the same actress who did the original anti-drug ad when she was a teenager?
